Tien Vominh, Managing Member
T. Vominh is a Managing Member of Ascent Development, a New York-based development firm that was founded in July 2008. Formally a Managing Director at CGS Developers, a Brooklyn-based firm that develops and constructs its own projects. T. Vominh was brought to CGS Developers as a project executive to upgrade the accounting system and restructure project management procedures. In addition to procuring financing for each of CGS's projects during his tenure, Mr. Vominh oversaw the project management of: The Powerhouse, 214 50th Avenue and 226 50th Avenue.
T. Vominh received a Masters of Science in Real Estate from New York University. He also received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in Finance from the University of Oregon. Mr. Vominh formerly served as adjunct professor teaching Multifamily Residential Development at New York University Schack Institute of Real estate.
Amit Veeramachaneni, Managing Member
A. Veeramachaneni is a Managing Member at Ascent Development and the President of Vee Hospitality, a New York‐based Real Estate Management and Development firm that was founded in February 2012. Starting with renovations and adaptive re-use in 2007, A. Veeramachaneni began working on ground up construction in 2012. Prior to his involvement in real estate development, Amit owned and operated several businesses in NYC and Long Island. He sold a majority of his businesses between 2012 and 2013 to focus on real estate full time.
A. Veeramachaneni was awarded the Henry Stanford Academic Scholarship to University of Miami. He holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance from Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University and a Construction Project Management Certificate from CUNY Baruch’s Steven L. Newman Real Estate Institute.
Michael P. O’Neil, Jr., Vice-President of Construction and Development
M. O’Neil holds a Bachelor of Political Science from Rider University. His experience spans the Commercial, Mission Critical, Laboratory, Hospitality, Retail and Multi-Family project types. A Construction Management background with a concentration on project controls has helped him lead teams that successfully delivered large projects, managed program roll outs and developed robust training and policy initiatives. O’Neil’s most recent roles with Bank of America, JLL and AmTrust Realty provided a diverse mix of responsibilities predominantly managing complex and difficult projects with an emphasis on risk mitigation.
Samir Kothari, Project Manager
S. Kothari holds a Bachelor of International Business and Finance from Bryant University and a Masters in Real Estate Development from New York University. His previous employers include Jones Lang Lassalle and Hawkinsway Capital where he was involved in the underwriting processes, facilitated the various aspects of the development process, and dealt with several issues relevant to development projects in the Indian and U.S. markets. Prior to his move to New York, Samir worked in India at his family’s real estate development business. The company, KBK corporation, has been in the industry for over three decades and specializes in high-end residential condominiums in Mumbai.
Matt K. Lynch, Development Manager
M. Lynch is a licensed architect in the state of New York. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Masters of Science of Urban Design from Pratt Institute. After graduation, Lynch worked at Robert A.M. Stern as a designer and project manager on some of New York’s premier luxury residential buildings. Following RAMSA, he joined the management team at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill where projects under his purview included a luxury residential tower with a boutique hotel, a large-scale mixed-use residential master plan.
Hector Rosado, Property Manager
H. Rosado supervises, directs, and oversees building staff and general contractors for the firm’s property portfolio to ensure daily operations are addressed to Ascent Developments’ high standards. With over 9 years of experience in managing Mid-rise Multifamily Co-op’s, Condominiums, and rental properties throughout the Tri-state area, H. Rosado‘s passion and dedication for real estate and property management has lead him to work diligently to provide an amicable service to all residents as well as secure relationships with quality vendors. H. Rosado’s most recent role included weekly site inspections, overseeing repairs and renovations, attending and conducting Co-op/Condo annual/monthly Board meetings, Property financial reviews, violation prevention and removal.
Thomas Manaois, Staff Accountant
T. Manaois holds a Bachelor of Finance from San Jose State University and Bachelor of Accounting from University of Roehampton, London, England. T. Manaois was awarded the Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship Award to University of Roehampton and selected to the Dean of Roehampton High Achiever’s Club. His experience in Accounting spans various positions in medical, agriculture, construction, property management, and distribution companies. His previous employers include Stockman & Associates where he managed accounting for real estate properties; Cypress HealthCare Partners managing accounting for Urgent Care, Hospitals and medical rental properties; and 3-Way Farms, Inc. managing the Accounting Department and Operations.
